Coach getting started
A walkthrough for beta coaches: account setup, your team layout, season and schedule, Game Day prep, and stats — with the same labels you'll see in the app.
1. Create your account
Go to Register, choose Coach / Create School, and enter your program name plus your first team (name and colors). That creates your school and drops you into the app as head coach.
2. Dashboard → school → your team
After sign-in you land on Dashboard. Open your school card, then click your team to reach Home — the command center for upcoming games, setup checklist, and shortcuts.
Along the top of the team page: Home (overview), Seasons (schedule and logged games), Roster (your players), Opponents (scouting and matchups), and Playbook (offensive/defensive schemes you log over time).
Game Day, Box Scores, and Log Game are in the team header(top-right actions), not in those tabs — you'll use them every game night.
3. Create a season first, then schedule
Open Seasons and create your active season before adding games — the schedule lives inside a season. Once the season exists, add games at the top with date, time, location, and opponent. Games stay in date order for the year.
4. Add roster & opponents
Under Roster, add your players (jersey numbers matter for stats and player accounts). Under Opponents, pick opponent schools and their players for scouting notes, weaknesses, and box scores — add new schools from your organization page if needed.
5. Game Day prep
Before each game, click Game Dayin the team header and choose tonight's opponent. Add Keys to the Game — short, actionable points for your staff and players.
Turn on Share keys with team so players see those keys on Game Day. Your full scouting notebook (weaknesses, detailed notes) stays coach-only unless you choose to share.
Prefer paper on the bench? You can print box score or court templates from Game Day when you need a backup stat sheet.
6. Stats during or after the game
Live scoring (optional): From Game Day or Box Scores, use Start Live Game. Tap stats for both teams, open Coach View at timeouts or halftime, and End Game when finished. Live scoring is optional; many programs only use Log Game after the final horn.
Log Game anytime: Enter or update scores and stats after the game, including the next day if you tracked on paper first — same flow when you skip live scoring.
If a live game was left open, you may see a banner on Home — End Gameto save stats or discard the stale session so Game Day isn't blocked.
Shot charts (basketball): During live scoring, tap a court zone after each 2PT/3PT (or skip for speed). After the game, open Hot Zone on the game editor to bulk-enter from paper notes.
7. Invite staff & players
From Dashboard → your school → Staff & Players, copy the invite link or code. Coaches register with Coach / Create School or join with the code; staff use the coach invite path.
Players register with the same invite code, choose Join as Player, then on team Home claim their roster spot so stats and Game Day keys tie to the right athlete.

Replace
YOUR_CODEwith the code on Staff & Players. For players, usejoinRole=PLAYER.
